A Day at Nairobi National Park

Nairobi is Kenya’s oldest national park as well as one of our best. The park has a major diversity of bird and wildlife in a physical area that you can fully explore comfortably in one day.

You’ll find more information on Nairobi in the Kenya section of Parks & Reserves of East Africa by selecting this link: Kenya Parks.

Like all Dream Wild safaris of any length, this is a private and not a mass market tour.

We offer this as a full day adventure for you and those you wish to include. As such, we will pick you up and return you to your hotel whenever you wish. The times that we list are those we think will let you make the most of your day.

6:00 AM: Your guide will meet you and your party at your hotel and have you at the park gate at approximately 6:30. Times will vary if you are staying in accommodations some distance out of Nairobi.

10:00 PM approximate: Take a break from your day safari to enjoy coffee, tea, and light refreshments.

12:00 PM approximate: Stretch your legs again while you guide lays out your picnic lunch. We will be happy to accommodate any special dietetic requirements you may have.

3:30 PM approximate: Afternoon tea or coffee and light refreshments.

6:00 PM: Leave Nairobi National Park for your hotel. You should be back at your accommodations by 6:30 PM.

Our 2016 Price: $250. Please add $75 each for up to 6 additional guests accompanying you on this safari. These prices are inclusive of all fees, transportation, food and drink as listed, and bottled water throughout the safari. Gratuities for your guide are not included.

A Day at Amboseli National Park

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. (Thanks to the Kenya Wildlife Service for this excellent introduction.)

You’ll find more information on Amboseli in the Kenya section of Parks & Reserves of East Africa by selecting this link: Kenya Parks.
