That’s "hello" in Swahili.

I’m Paul Mbutu. As Managing Director of Dream Wild Africa Safaris and Photography Ltd., I want to invite you to our East African home for your trip of a lifetime.

With more than a decade of experience in the safari business, I’m confident that we can design a personal safari for you or your small group that will give you the African holiday you’ve always dreamed about.

None of our safaris are pre-packaged. My staff and I will work with you to create your ideal itinerary anywhere you want to go in Kenya and Tanzania.

We hand-design safaris of any length, to any East African location you choose, with the level of lodging that you request.

Some of our guests travel through East Africa for three weeks. Many come for the annual Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras, the largest mass movement of land animals on the planet.

Others want to spend a few days in the African bush following their Mombasa beach holiday. Yet others prefer to spend a week or more in one location concentrating on photography. Some of our guests come for East Africa’s amazing birds that are too often overlooked among Africa’s many wonders.

No matter what you want to do, Dream Wild offers East African safaris year-round leaving on the day you select.

We’ve tried to anticipate many of the questions that you’ll have about your safari in our Frequently Asked Questions section.

We know that you’ll have others. Please contact us at our Nairobi office by email or phone. If we can’t answer you immediately, we’ll contact you within 24 hours with the information you need.

We know from what our guests tell us at the end of their journeys with Dream Wild that their personal safari was an excellent value, giving them exactly the experiences they wanted from Africa before they came, and at a fair price.

Other guests have asked for our help in pointing them in a direction or two from which they could begin to plan their personal visit to East Africa.

For those who may know less about the possibilities of an East African safari, Dream Wild suggests an Introduction to Kenya Safari (11 days, 10 nights) for $3,640 per person based on double occupancy.

Select the link "Safaris" above to learn the details. You’ll also find suggestions for adding to the itinerary.

Prices and terms for 2016 are good throughout the calendar year. With few exceptions, safaris may leave on any day of the year that you choose.

Tanzania provides excellent information on their national parks at The vast majority of safari travelers in Tanzania select a destination on the northern circuit, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti. Many of the parks below the northern circuit are much more difficult to reach except by air and have far fewer camp and lodge facilities than the northern circuit parks.

Kenya has chosen to split information on its parks and nature reserves among a number of websites according to which government agency administers an area.

To assist you with selecting your itinerary, we’ve provided information on the most popular parks and reserves of Kenya and Tanzania elsewhere on our site.

All photos on our web pages, including those of these parks and reserves, have been taken by our guests on their own safaris.

Many have become friends and have graciously allowed us to use their work.

Whatever the safari adventure you’ve always dreamed about, Dream Wild Africa will take you there: where, when and how you want.

2017 begins for Dream Wild with our being able to repay the kindness shown to us by many of the Texans whom we visited there in the past two years with a safari of their own across much of Kenya.

It’s our wish that your new year begins as happily for you.

All prices and policies shown in these pages are guaranteed through October 31, 2017.
